Making the Most of Your Learning Experience

Hello Students,

LFBI has students who attend weekly classes in three ways: in-person, online and live stream. Each of these types of learning and listening are only as effective as the student allows them to be. You make the most of each experience by practicing active listening and taking notes. But we all recognize eLearning is a distinct experience from in-person learning. If you are learning online, is critical that you establish a discipline for your study time, such as finding a quiet and distraction free environment so that you can listen carefully.

Over the last few years, the data has become clear, students do better when they participate live (in-person or live stream). Live attendance makes the learning more interactive, allowing you to ask questions in real time. Our students who are live streaming have the ability to type into the zoom "chat" section of the live stream and ask questions of their instructor. Please take advantage of these opportunities.

No matter what approach you take, please take your learning seriously. Make a weekly plan and don't allow yourself to be inconsistent in your participation.

We are praying for you.

Love,

The LFBI Team
