Dear LFBI Students,

Over the past week, many of you have experienced
ongoing technical issues with the myLFBI platform. We want to provide some
clarity and update you on what’s been happening.

Last weekend, the site was compromised due to a
cyberattack. In response, our team took immediate steps to secure and reset the
platform, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some student quiz data.
Simultaneously, our technical support team has been working on a major site
update, further contributing to the extended downtime.

We sincerely apologize for the disruption this has
caused. Managing a system that serves hundreds of students is a significant
task, and despite our best efforts, the technology doesn’t always cooperate. We
ask for your continued grace and patience as we work to restore full
functionality. Please also keep our team in prayer as we strive to serve you
and honor the Lord in this work.

To ensure students have adequate time to complete
their coursework, we are extending the semester by one week. The new semester
end date is Friday,
August 9th at 11:59 PM (CT).

Any lost quizzes or assignments will need to be
retaken. If you have further concerns, don’t hesitate to contact the Provost’s
Office at bbriscoe@lfbi.org.
